My wife's birthday was this past Thursday (yesterday) and one of the things she wanted to do was to head to the Louisville Zoo, and we also found out a while ago that they have opened up a new African Elephant area in the Nashville Zoo. So we have plans now to hit Louisville tomorrow and then go to the Nashville Zoo Sunday (as it is only 10 minutes from our front door).
I'll be running to pick up film on the way home, maybe a new memory card for the digital camera (cause the one I have has all the action figure photos I have taken so far). Then I get to clean all the camera equipment and pack it up for the trip - and we are off tomorrow to "go wild".
The only downside is we want to drive up to Louisville in the morning to get there when the zoo opens, with a 3 hour drive, and the time change (lose an hour going up), we are oging to have to be out before 5:30
My wife keeps forgetting I am NOT a morning person

Atleast for you the MH gig will be cooler.
I am not one for concerts, movies, large crowds, etc.
Basically because deep down - I just plain hate the human race
When I am off photoing - I can shut them out. And you'd be amazed at the number of people that clear out when you set up a tripod. Especially after you clock them on the back of the head with it after they ruin one of your shots

I got to ride one twice. One last summer.
Elephants are cool. Even when you're over 250 pounds you don't feel like you're to heavy for it

I'm not a fan of crowds either.
which is why I show up at our gigs when it's time to play, and take off right after.
but I'll make an exception for this.
as for whacking people in the head with the tripod, I want pics of that!

Can't hit the toy show this weekend, because I am super broke due to buying super pricey vintage toys the last couple months. JUST paying some of it off, so I need to take a break. Sucks too, because I wanted to go on a Micro hunt. Next show for sure though. Or at least I hope for sure.

We've got a toy showing coming up in a few weeks - I am deciding if I want to head to that. May just do that - give me something else to do to stop me from taking pics of my collection, and scanning in the photos from this weekend.
I kid you not, there will be probably 200 from my wife and about 125 or so from me when all said and done this weekend!
